Inland Spanish Property Almeria
Property For Sale Inland Almeria
Property for sale in Almeria has been on the rise over the last few years. Property in Almeria is popular at the
moment, not only for its more affordable prices but also for the fact that, in general, development in the area
has remained fairly low key. This lesser known province has developed slowly, allowing the area to maintain a
virtually undeveloped coastline and distinctly undiscovered feel. Indeed, with lower prices for property than
much of the rest of Eastern and Southern Spain, a local airport providing good access, great climate and
attractive coastline, property for sale in inland Almeria has plenty to offer. The airport is just outside of
Almeria town, the capital of Almeria Province and is easy to get to as much of Almeria has good communication
routes and roads. There is a multitude of different types of property for sale in Almeria. From the snowy peaks
of the Eastern Alpujarra’s to the amazing coastline at Cabo De Gata National Park, the range of property for sale
in Almeria is wide and varied, from small, rustic cortijos (country house) and large country fincas to new
developments of modern apartments and houses along the sandy beaches that line the coast. To find Inland Almeria
property, please feel free to search our database for the many Inland Almeria properties we have listed there.
Property For Sale Rural Almeria
The climate in Almeria is fantastic, with more than 320 days of sunshine a year, making the Province of Almeria
one of the sunniest areas in Europe. So whether buying to live or buying to let, this province is attracting
tourists all year round. As Almeria is one of the lesser known areas of Spain, prices can be lower here than
other parts of Spain. Almeria is an ideal place to buy your home or investment for the future.
A number of good beaches are easily accessible from rural Almeria and are well worth considering, even right out
of season. Some of the most popular coastal resorts include Roquetas de Mar, Aguadulce and Mojacar. The coastal
village of San Jose is one of our favourites.
Almeria boasts Andalucia’s largest National Park; the Cabo De Gata-Nijar National Park, with its 38,000
terrestrial hectares and 12,000 marine hectares, and extends from the extreme east of the bay of Almeria to the
southern part of the Sierra Cabrera, through the districts of Almeria, Nijar and Carboneras, forming a group of
landscapes unique in Europe, with extraordinary botanical, zoological and archaeological variety. The coast is
composed of jagged cliffs and small, hidden coves with white sand beaches, slashed everywhere with parched
gullies. The crystal waters of the peninsula are ideal for underwater photography, scuba diving and all manner of
underwater fishing, as well as sailing and windsurfing, while the inland areas of Almeria are ideal for mountain
biking, quads and land vehicle excursions.
